Data from a factorial vignette that was administered to a university-based sample (N = 503) were used. Results confirmed that strain had a direct effect on negative emotions and aggressive behavioral intentions. The relationship between strain and aggressive behavioral intentions was partially indirect, operating through negative emotions. Trait anger, low self-control, and legitimate coping were significant moderators, influencing the connection between state emotions and aggressive behavioral intentions. These findings highlight the risks of crime dispositions and underscore the importance of legitimate coping skills.
<note type="statement of responsibility">Margaret T. Wood and Michael D. It is further assumed that poorer households are disproportionately affected, earn lower returns and that wealth inequality is thereby amplified. This article challenges these assumptions by providing the first comprehensive estimates of real asset and equity returns by wealth group for France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the euro area as a whole, using a new Eurosystem data set from 2011 onwards. The results show that, except in Spain, real asset returns rise with net wealth. Real equity returns display a U-shaped pattern in Germany, France and the euro area - where both poorer and very wealthy households achieve higher returns than the middle class - while returns are positively correlated with net wealth in Italy and negatively in Spain. These patterns reflect heterogeneous asset returns and leverage dynamics both within and between countries.
<note type="statement of responsibility">Marc Peter Radke</note><relatedItem type="host"><titleInfo><title>Intereconomics</title></titleInfo><originInfo><place><placeTerm>Kiel</placeTerm></place><publisher>ZBW - Leibniz-Informationszentrum für Wirtschaft</publisher><dateIssued>1966</dateIssued></originInfo><physicalDescription><note>Online-Ressource</note></physicalDescription><recordInfo><recordIdentifier source="gbv-sru">340880422</recordIdentifier></recordInfo></relatedItem><identifier type="kxp">1970358750</identifier><location><url displayLabel="Verlag" note="Kostenfrei zugänglich ohne Registrierung">https://reference-global.com/pddf/10.2478/ie-2026-0021</url></location><location><url displayLabel="Resolving-System" note="Kostenfrei zugänglich ohne Registrierung">https://doi.org/10.2478/ie-2026-0021</url></location><part order="61"><detail type="volume"><number>61</number></detail><extent unit="page"><start>112</start><end>122</end></extent></part><extension><vlz:externalType xmlns:vlz="http://visuallibrary.net/vlz/1.0/" recordSyntax="pica" code="Os"/><vlz:info xmlns:vlz="http://visuallibrary.net/vlz/1.0/" version="0"/></extension><recordInfo><recordCreationDate encoding="marc">05-05-26</recordCreationDate><recordChangeDate encoding="marc">05-05-26</recordChangeDate><recordIdentifier source="gbv-sru">1970358750</recordIdentifier><descriptionStandard>rda</descriptionStandard></recordInfo></mods></srw:recordData></srw:record><srw:record>

The data are associated with the book chapter “Investigation of Damage in (Ultra) High Performance Concrete under Different Moisture and Cyclic Load Conditions” (DFG Priority Programme SPP2020). Cylindrical specimens (75 mm length, 30 mm diameter) were tested over a frequency range of 0.1-1000 Hz. Each dataset ("Amplitude_sweep_bin.tar", "Frequency_sweep_bin.tar") contains MATLAB binary files with recorded signals, including axial and lateral strain, actuator displacement, piezoelectric force, UTM load cell force, input voltage, and temperature. In addition, "Final_Results.tar" contains post-processed results organized into three folders( "Amplitude_Sweep_Results", "Frequency_Sweep_Results", and "Stiffness_reduction_Results"), each including text files and corresponding PDF plots. The experimental setup is based on a static preload combined with a superimposed harmonic excitation. A universal testing machine (Schenk-Trebel RM 100) applies the static preload via a metallic stamp, while a piezoelectric actuator driven by amplified sinusoidal voltage signals (0-10 V) generates small oscillatory displacements (up to 40 μm), enabling high-resolution dynamic loading. Force measurement is performed using two complementary approaches: (i) a piezoelectric force sensor for high-frequency measurements and (ii) a calibrated aluminum reference sample in combination with the UTM load cell for low-frequency calibration (≤ 0.1 Hz), where the load cell is accurate. The aluminum specimen acts as a transfer standard, allowing the relationship between strain and force to be established under quasi-static conditions. Temperature is monitored using a PT-1000 sensor, and all signals are recorded using a high-speed data acquisition system (HBM-HBK GEN2tB and GN1640B). Tests were conducted at room temperature (21-23 °C) under preload levels of 2.7 MPa and 10 MPa. The calibration is required due to the limited frequency response of the UTM load cell. At low frequencies, force is directly measured and correlated with the strain of the aluminum reference sample. Using Hooke’s law, the Young’s modulus of aluminum (defined as the ratio between stress and strain in the linear elastic regime) is used to convert measured strain into stress and thus force. This calibrated force-strain relationship is then applied to high-frequency measurements, where direct load cell readings are unreliable. In contrast, Poisson’s ratio is obtained directly from locally measured longitudinal and transverse strains as their ratio, and therefore does not require calibration. Post-processing is performed using the MATLAB script “Main_Post_Processing_code.m” (provided in “Post_Processing_Code_Extract_Results.tar”). Young’s modulus of the UHPC specimen is calculated as the ratio between calibrated stress, derived from the aluminum-based force calibration (ASbottom-AluB L stress_cal) and the measured longitudinal strain (SampleDMS_L). For Poisson’s ratio, the transverse strain (SampleDMS_Q) and longitudinal strain (SampleDMS_L) are directly evaluated. The results are automatically exported as text files.
MATLAB, R2021b
<note>Updated: 2026-04-30</note><note>DFG: 35392161 - SPP 2020</note><subject><topic>Engineering</topic></subject><subject><topic>Physics</topic></subject><subject><topic>Dynamic Mechanical Analysis</topic></subject><subject><topic>Ultra-High Performance Concrete</topic></subject><subject><topic>Attenuation</topic></subject><identifier type="kxp">197023928X</identifier><location><url displayLabel="Resolving-System" note="Kostenfrei zugänglich ohne Registrierung">https://doi.org/10.18419/DARUS-4458</url></location><extension><vlz:externalType xmlns:vlz="http://visuallibrary.net/vlz/1.0/" recordSyntax="pica" code="Oa"/><vlz:info xmlns:vlz="http://visuallibrary.net/vlz/1.0/" version="0"/></extension><recordInfo><recordCreationDate encoding="marc">03-05-26</recordCreationDate><recordChangeDate encoding="marc">04-05-26</recordChangeDate><recordIdentifier source="gbv-sru">197023928X</recordIdentifier><descriptionStandard>rak</descriptionStandard></recordInfo></mods></srw:recordData></srw:record><srw:record>

Using a two-stage randomization design, we tested two types of weekly SMS messages: growth-mindset encouragement and personalized performance information. We find two main effects: First, outreach improved test scores by 0.07 standard deviations, with particularly strong gains among initially lower-performing students. This improvement generates 12 learning-adjusted years of schooling per US$100 spent--making it highly cost-effective relative to other education interventions. Second, outreach increased student exit rates by 4.7-5.0 percentage points, with effects concentrated among higher-achieving students (5.7 to 6.6 percent-age points). We develop a theoretical model of vertically differentiated schools where parental engagement affects both learning production and school choice. The model shows that when parents update their understanding of education production through engagement programs, they become more sensitive to perceived school quality differences. This increased sensitivity can lead lower-quality schools to forgo implementing engagement programs--even when costless--as enhanced parental discernment accelerates student exits. Our findings suggest a role for third-party provision of parent engagement programs in competitive education markets
<note type="statement of responsibility">Guthrie Gray-Lobe, Michael Kremer, Joost de Laat, Oluchi Mbonu, Cole Scanlon</note><subject><topic>Search; Learning; Information and Knowledge; Communication; Belief; Unawareness</topic></subject><subject><topic>Role and Effects of Psychological, Emotional, Social, and Cognitive Factors on Decision Making</topic></subject><subject><topic>Analysis of Education</topic></subject><subject><topic>Information and Product Quality; Standardization and Compatibility</topic></subject><subject><topic>Human Resources; Human Development; Income Distribution; Migration</topic></subject><identifier type="kep">127373438</identifier><location><url displayLabel="Verlag" note="Lizenzpflichtig">https://www.nber.org/papers/w35103</url></location><location><url displayLabel="Resolving-System" note="Lizenzpflichtig">http://dx.doi.org/10.3386/w35103</url></location><extension><vlz:externalType xmlns:vlz="http://visuallibrary.net/vlz/1.0/" recordSyntax="pica" code="Oa"/><vlz:info xmlns:vlz="http://visuallibrary.net/vlz/1.0/" version="0"/></extension><recordInfo><recordCreationDate encoding="marc">30-04-26</recordCreationDate><recordChangeDate encoding="marc">30-04-26</recordChangeDate><recordIdentifier source="gbv-sru">1970157755</recordIdentifier><descriptionStandard>rda</descriptionStandard></recordInfo></mods></srw:recordData></srw:record><srw:record>
